Donegal County Council, as a partner on the EU funded LADDER Project, has created a citizens journalist initiative. This initiative has seen the creation of a network of like minded individuals interested in global issues such as migration, human rights, development, poverty eradication, citizens’ participation, youth engagement, women’s rights, solidarity, cohesion and mutual understanding amongst others. Citizens are invited to write articles, interviews or blogs which will be publicised on the Donegal County Council’s website and will be forwarded to the lead partner, ALDA to be disseminated through European communication channels.
