Seminar-The Border - Past, Present and Future

To coincide with our current temporary exhibition ‘BORDERLINES’, Donegal County Museum presents a Seminar on The Border – Past, Present and Future, which will take place on Saturday 19th April from 9.30am – 1pm in the County Museum, High Road, Letterkenny.

This seminar will look at how the past is remembered and the sensitive nature of gathering stories from people living in border areas during the last 30 years and personal memories of the Border. Speakers include Senator Brian O’ Domhnaill and Kevin Duffy, Director Borderlines Project, Dr.Byronie Reid, Research Associate at the University of Ulster, Eoin Magennis, Policy and Research Manager Intertrade Ireland, Former Army Sergeant Joe O’Brien and Former Customs man John Giblin. The Seminar will be Chaired by Pat McArt, Editor Derry Journal.
