Opening hours in libraries are being revised in order to work within available resources. The new opening hours for the Lifford Library, effective from the 30th of March until further notice, are as follows:
Monday 10.00am - 2.00pm
Tuesday 11.00am - 1.30pm & 2.00pm - 5.30pm
Thursday 11.00am - 1.30pm & 2.00pm - 5.30pm
Friday 10.30am - 1.30pm & 2.30pm - 5.30pm
Online services
A number of services are available via the www.donegallibrary.ie website, including the facility to search the Donegal catalogue and reserve items for collection at any one of 29 locations across the county. Hundreds of reference works are also available to members. The catalogues for all public libraries in the country can be accessed at www.borrowbooks.ie. We would encourage everyone to avail of these online resources, which are provided completely free of charge to library members.
Donegal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused and hopes all current and new library users can visit during the revised opening hours, when extensive library services and a warm welcome will continue to be provided.
