Pedestrians and drivers need to take care when walking or driving along this stretch of road. The road is a typical coastal road and runs along the cliff at some locations. There are several other walkways along shores and beaches in the county. The accident statistics going back to 1994 do not show up any traffic accidents on this stretch of road other than the recent tragedy which did not involve vehicles. The Rossnowlagh Community Council has identified a number of locations in the area which they would like to receive attention - this area being one of them. Donegal County Council will endeavor to obtain funding for these projects with a view to putting some form of remedial works in place.
