Donegal Local Authorities (Donegal County Council, and the Town Councils of Letterkenny, Buncrana and Bundoran) invite expressions of interest for the provision of dwellings under a new long term leasing initiative.
- Donegal Local Authorities will lease private dwellings;
- Properties will be tenanted, managed and maintained by the local authority;
- Leases will be for between 10-20 years;
- Rent will be guaranteed for the whole lease period;
All expressions of interest should be submitted on a standard template available for download at www.donegalcoco.ie and returned for consideration to the relevant local authority.
Submissions must include a minimum of 5 properties and consideration will only be given to properties in areas where the local authority has a need for housing.
Properties must be of a good quality and comply with all planning and building regulations. All properties must have a structural guarantee.
Closing date for receipt of valid submissions will be 12.00 noon on Thursday 9th April 2009.

This notice is in addition to the notice seeking similar submissions of interest published by the department of Environment, Heritage and Local Government on 19th Feb 2009 in the National press and parties who made acknowledged submission to the Donegal Local authorities as a result of same do not need to resubmit.
