'Defend and Inspire' Exhibition

‘Defend and Inspire’ is a touring exhibition from The Ulster Architectural Heritage Society, aimed at highlighting the importance and potential of our built heritage. This exhibition opens on Thursday 15th May at 6.30pm in the Donegal County Museum, High Road, Letterkenny. Joe Tracey, Architect, will launch it. Refreshments will be served.

The exhibition includes panels from ‘Modern Ulster Architecture’, a recent exhibition by the Society and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, together with photographs and information on local buildings in Donegal that have been rescued and others that remain at risk. The Ulster Architectural Heritage Society celebrates forty years of work promoting the appreciation and enjoyment of built heritage in the nine counties of Ulster.
All are welcome and admission is free.

The exhibition continues until June 30th. The Museum opening hours are 10am – 4.30pm Mon – Fri, 12.30- 1pm Lunch and Saturday 1- 4.30pm
