Letterkenny & Environs Development Plan

The Future of Letterkenny: Your chance to get involved.

Would you like to have your say on the future growth and development of Letterkenny? Do you have suggestions on how Letterkenny should grow? Do you have opinions on local issues such as housing provision, transport, the local economy or the enhancement and protection of the local environment? Do you have opinions on where future services and facilities should be located in the town?

If so, then now is the time to have your say. As part of the review of the Letterkenny and Environs Development Plan, two major public consultation events will take place in:

The Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny (Behind An Grianan Theatre, Port Road) on
Friday 19th October (10.30am - 7.00pm)
and
Saturday 20th October (11.00 am – 5.00 pm).

Letterkenny Town Council, in conjunction with Donegal County Council, are urging members of the public to attend these events and to air their views and suggestions on Letterkenny’s future development. These events will be open to all, with a strong complement of Council staff available to discuss your views. Some interesting exhibition material will also be on display in what will be an informal setting.

For further information on these public drop-in events, or on any aspect of the Development Plan Review Process, then please do not hesitate to contact our office on 074 – 9172295.
