Have you ever wanted a book or needed a piece of information but were too far away from your nearest library? Well now that library service has come to a centre near you. Through Taobh Tíre, Donegal County Library has established partnerships with local community groups to bring library services to fourteen rural and isolated communities across County Donegal. As well as accessing services in these local Taobh Tíre centres, online services have been developed through the library website, www.donegallibrary.ie
Taobh Tíre members can:
Access over 170,000 items from every branch library in the County.
Request these items online and have them delivered to their nearest Taobh Tíre centre.
Renew items that they already have on loan.
Send information queries to the Ask A Librarian Service.
Access a range of online information resource.
