Diarmuid Gavin will unveil the Barrack Hill Town Park Design plans at a public meeting in ‘The Aras’, Carndonagh Community School at 8pm on Tuesday 23rd September 2008.
Commissioned by Donegal County Council to design one of the most imaginative and ambitious community spaces and play parks in Ireland, Diarmuid has been a frequent visitor to Carndonagh over the last twelve months.
Throughout this time, Diarmuid has been involved in an in-depth consultation process with school children, teenagers, the playground committee and a wide variety of local people. The wait is almost over for the 120 ‘clients’ and indeed the Carndonagh community who have been working with Diarmuid and Donegal County Council on this exciting project.
The closely guarded design plans will be unveiled personally by Diarmuid on Tuesday 23rd September at 8pm in ‘The Aras’, Carndonagh Community School.
