The Arts Service works closely with a wide range of artists, arts organisations, education service providers and community groups in all parts of County Donegal. In line with goals and objectives of the ‘Cultúr: A Strategic Vision for Cultural Services 2016-2020’, this work prioritises the continuous improvement of access to and participation in creative activities among all members of the public, the promotion and development of the educational value of the arts and the support of quality and innovation in the arts sector, through a wide range of development initiatives, events programmes and supports.
Donegal County Council gratefully acknowledges the on-going financial support of The Arts Council/An Comhairle Ealaíon in many of the initiatives and programmes outlined. The Arts Council has been a co-funder of Donegal County Council’s arts development programme since 1988.
