Donegal County Council’s annual Scheme of Arts Grants enables the local authority to provide funding assistance to individuals and groups engaged in creative projects involving any or a combination of the following artforms - Theatre, Visual Art, Music (all forms), Dance, Traditional Arts, Literature, Film, Digital Media, Community or Participatory Arts, Youth Arts and Arts Education.
In considering applications to the Scheme, Donegal County Council takes into account the extent to which the activities for which an arts grant is being sought accord with our own policies and priorities in the development of the arts. Priority is given to activities which contribute significantly to the cultural life of the host community and to the cultural life of the county.
Applications are being invited from individual artists, arts groups, community groups, schools, festivals and events organisers, to the Scheme of Arts Grants 2017.
The Scheme provides limited financial assistance for the Promotion of Arts Activities in the County. Projects in the following artforms are eligible for support -Theatre, Visual Art, Music ( all forms ), Dance, Traditional Arts, Literature, Film, Digital Media, Community Arts, Youth Arts and Arts Education.

Completed applications to the Scheme will be accepted up to close of business (5.00pm) on Friday, 3 March 2017.
