This guide was compiled by the County Donegal Heritage Office, Cultural Services, Donegal County Council and provides details of possible sources of funding for heritage initiatives. Each of the different funding agencies have different criteria for evaluation of applications so much will depend on the specific nature of the work planned and the ethos under which the work will be carried out. Applicants are advised to check grant conditions and closing dates for receipt of applications as these vary considerably between agencies and grant schemes.
