How to apply for a water connection

  • Complete application form and return to your local public service centre.
  • Any development charges levied by planning must be paid before your application for a sewer connection can be processed.
  • The Area Engineer will report on the conditions and the fees involved in making the connection.
  • A letter will issue to you outlining the Councils agreement in principle to the connection and will detail the fees & conditions involved.
  • Fees should then be paid to your relevant Council office
  • Upon payment in full of the fees a letter of permission will issue to the applicant subject to conditions.
