Motor Tax is a service provided by Local Authorities and the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government
There is an Authorised Officer in each of the Motor Tax Area Offices.
Each officer is responsible for the day to day management of the office, the officer also carries out inspection of vehicles where necessary.
