Presentation of cheques to last year’s 4 charity partners recently at Waterworld
Waterworld Bundoran, Ireland’s Premier Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground, have announced four charity partners to coincide with their 25th year of operations.
The four charities will be the beneficiaries of takings on Waterworld’s annual charity day which this year takes place on Saturday 4th June from 12-6pm.
The four beneficiary charities are Ballyshannon/Bundoran NYP, The Bluestack Centre Donegal Town, Saimer Community Childcare Ballyshannon and Bundoran Community Childcare.
Speaking on the announcement of the charities, Chairman of Bundoran Waterworld PJ Delaney said “we are so well supported by the local community each year when we open so this is just our gesture of saying thank you by offering local charities a unique fundraising opportunity through our annual charity day. We were overwhelmed by the level of interest this year and the decision on the four final beneficiaries was a difficult, but we hope a fair one.’
The annual charity day will take place as part of Waterworld’s 25th anniversary celebrations on Saturday 4th June and guests attending the facility on the day will receive a free gift as well as 25% off their next visit.
Supporters of the charities are encouraged to attend on the day so that donations may be maximized.
