This is the message that Donegal County Council, working with our partners in Derry City and Strabane District Council, is conveying during the cross border trade mission to Boston Massachusetts as part of Golden Bridges 2016.

The 8th annual Golden Bridges Conference takes place on the 18 November 2016 in Boston and builds on the previous transatlantic gatherings in Boston. Golden Bridges spotlights community, business and education initiatives in the northwest and promotes partnerships with peers in Boston and Massachusetts.
This year civic leaders, businesses and officials from the Northwest are embarking on their largest ever delegation to Boston, Massachusetts as part of the Golden Bridges programme and this delegation is being jointly led by the Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council Cllr. Terence Slowey and the Mayor of Derry, Cllr. Hilary McClintock.
Along with both Councils, other participating organisations include Udaras na nGaeltachta, Invest NI, Enterprise Ireland, Ulster University, Letterkenny Institute of Technology and the North West Regional College.
17 businesses from across the Northwest region is participating in this overseas trade mission with a view to expanding or further expanding their business in the US market. For more information on the participating businesses click here.
A new video showcasing the region as a 'Gateway to Growth' and as a prime location for business has been commissioned especially for this mission.
