Sláintecare Healthy Communities Programme (SHCP) is a interagency plan to improve health and well being of designated communities across the country.
The Department of Health, Donegal County Council and the Local Community Development Committee have agreed to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders to coordinate interventions that address the social determinants of health which are the conditions in which we are born, live, grow, work and age in.
Two areas were selected in Donegal: North West Donegal including a section of An Gaeltacht, the islands and Inishowen

We would like to hear the community’s voice from groups or organisations on what would make your areas healthier places in which to live, grow, work and age into the future. We are looking for your suggestions for projects, initiatives or developments that you would like to see in your area, or that your group could deliver within your community. Please complete the expression of interest form which will help inform the Sláintecare Healthy Communities Programme.
The closing date for submission of expressions of interest is Wednesday 17th of August 2022 at 3pm.
