Further to a break-in at the Letterkenny Public Services Centre in the early hours of this morning (Friday), Donegal County Council wish to confirm that the office remains open to the public during normal hours.
The Motor Tax Office will reopen at 9.15am on Monday morning.
Donegal County Council wish to reaffirm, that no cash is kept in any of it’s offices overnight, and while minor damage was done as a result of this incident, the burglars left empty handed.
The Council’s security systems kicked in as per procedure, and Gardai are investigating the incident.
