You must have already submitted an application to the scheme for Stage 1 – Confirmation of Eligibility but not yet have received Stage 2 Grant Approval in order to make a request for financial assistance with essential immediate repairs.
Works must be specified by your chartered engineer as part of the original or a supplementary building condition assessment report (BCA)
Works must complete and signed off by both your chartered engineer and contractor
Payment in respect of approved requests will be for 90% of the approved costs or actual costs subject to a maximum of €5,000 and will only be made on or after Stage 1 – Confirmation of Eligibility has been issued.
Any payment made for essential immediate repairs will form part of overall costs for grant calculation when applying for Stage 2 – Grant Approval
