Council and Social Housing

There are a number of supports and services available to help people meet their housing needs.  The supports include:

• Council Housing
• Housing Assistance Payment (HAP)
• Assistance for tenants in receipt of Notices To Terminate
• Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs)
• Rental Accommodation Scheme (RAS)
• Traveller Accommodation

To avail of these, you first must be approved by the Council for social housing support.  The first step in this process is to apply for social housing.
