29/05/18 Get involved and show your support for the Riverine

Locals from the Lifford/Strabane community at the public consultation event last week.

Over 50 members of the Lifford Strabane Community gathered on Wednesday last in the Courthouse in Lifford for the public consultation workshop to discuss proposals for the new Riverine Community Park and the public are being urged to complete the online survey by Monday 4 June.

Claire McCallan, Project Co-ordinator with Donegal County Council said “much information and detail has already been gathered to inform the Riverine and we are keen to hear from the public about the type of community facilities they would like in the Riverine project so that we can ensure that we are developing the right project for the community.”

“By getting more feedback we will also be able to show our potential funders that the project effectively meets community needs and thereby have a greater chance of obtaining a 100% grant for the costs of developing Riverine”.

“This is why we are asking those who have not already done so to take a minute to complete the online survey and to help inform the Riverine Community Park at the following link:”.

“This survey will close on Monday 4th June 2018 to provide us with adequate time to interrogate responses and incorporate these into the application submission”.
