01/07/21 - Online Discover Bundoran 2021 Brochure launched

Many activities and attractions in Bundoran are open for business and are ready to welcome guests across the summer months. Despite some businesses still being affected by recent announcements, there are plenty of activities in the seaside town as is evident from the 2021 Discover Bundoran brochure which has been launched as an online publication.

The 42 page brochure is available online at the Discover Bundoran website with links also available via the tourism partnership’s social media channels. It outlines all the things to do in Bundoran throughout the summer months as well as the new initiatives across the town and some top tips for guests to be more sustainable while they are in Bundoran. A comprehensive local business directory and updated map is also contained in the brochure.

Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth who edited the brochure said ‘we are disappointed for our trade members and our guests that the reopening of hospitality and some indoor attractions has been delayed. However, for those who have already booked staycations here, there is plenty on offer as can be seen in the new online brochure. We have been putting a lot of plans in place over the winter months and we are happy to see many of these come to fruition and feature in the brochure. We are excited to launch our new webcams giving live views of Donegal Bay 24-7 as well as free wifi, our new mural and other amenities.’

Chairperson of Discover Bundoran John O’Connell added ‘We await the further reopening of some elements of the hospitality industry. In the meantime it is great to see so many new options and initiatives across the town including the many outdoor dining opportunities which are in place with our food trade. I’d like to congratulate all the new businesses that have opened this and would like to wish all of our trade partners a successful season. We look forward to seeing many of our friends over the coming months.’

It is hoped to return to a printed version of the brochure for 2022.
