The N56 Ardara Pavement Strengthening & Associated Minor Works Contract 2018 commenced onsite on Monday 8 October 2018 and will continue for approx. 9 weeks.
The project will involve reconstruction and resurfacing of the existing N56, drainage improvements and associated ancillary works for a distance of approx. 2km from the Killybegs side of John Molloy’s Woollen Mills, through Ardara Town and finishing at the entrance to Ard Na Gréine Housing Estate on the Glenties side of the Town.
Various Traffic Management Arrangements will be in operation for the duration of the works including some parking restrictions through Main Street and Front Street from time to time as works progress through the town.
We, along with the main contractor, will liaise with local residents and businesses affected by the works throughout and appropriate arrangements will be made for access and deliveries as the works progress.
