The website offers a one-stop-shop for all matters relating to domestic waste and recycling, so, if you want to know what to do or where to go with your waste items, it can help!

The site includes:

  • Information on what to do with various types of household waste
  • An interactive map including all recycling facilities
  • A simple guide to recycling and a comprehensive list of everyday items that can be recycled
  • A list of items that can only be disposed of in the general waste bin
  • A list of items that should be disposed of as hazardous waste.

The site also provides information why it is important to manage waste responsibly and is designed to help progress Ireland’s waste targets which include a targeted household recycling and reuse rate of 65% by 2035.
