Donegal County Museum is re-opening on Wednesday 26th August at 10am. We have worked hard to ensure a safe and enjoyable visitor experience. We’re ready and waiting to welcome you back to enjoy our fantastic range of exhibitions including our new exhibition – ‘The Railways of County Donegal’.

It is mandatory to wear face coverings inside Donegal County Museum
Social distancing is in place and all HSE hygiene and cleaning advice will be strictly adhered to. Sanitisation units are available throughout the Museum.
Please follow the new safety signage in place; we want you to enjoy your visit.
Booking is required for groups of 5 or more.
On Saturdays, only our exhibition in the ground floor gallery is open.
We are restricting the number of visitors to the Museum – 15 in the ground floor gallery and 15 in our first floor gallery. The length of time for a visit may be limited if we are at maximum capacity.

Closed for lunch 12.30 – 13.00
Saturday: 13.00 – 16.30 (restricted to ground floor gallery only)
