Donegal County Council is delighted to announce the launch of a new community newsletter, designed to promote the latest projects, initiatives, events and funding programmes coordinated, managed and overseen by our Community Development Division and Donegal Local Community Development Committee (LCDC).

The newsletter will be a biannual publication that provides an insight into the work Donegal County Council does with community groups, community & voluntary organisations, our Local Authority partner organisations, and other sector stakeholders across the county while highlighting opportunities and funding programmes available to empower and support people to enhance their own communities.

Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Cllr. Niamh Kennedy expressed enthusiasm about the new initiative, stating, "The launch of this Community Newsletter demonstrates our commitment as a Council to maintain effective communication and build engagement with our local communities. It will serve as a tool, not only to inform and connect the people of Donegal, but also to showcase our stunning landscapes, culture, heritage, and sense of community.”

The Community Newsletter is available to view and download here.
