Indian Community Centre Letterkenny presents the second annual Donegal Mela on Saturday, 23rd August 2025 from 1 PM to 5 PM at An Grianán Theatre Plaza, Letterkenny.

This fun event is a celebration of India’s and world culture, with live performances, workshops, children’s activities and stalls – something for everyone.

You can try Bollywood and Classical dance workshops, see traditional Indian fashion, play fun games including Giant Jenga, Skittles and Connect 4. Kids will love face painting, art stations and photo booth, while adults can try beautiful henna designs.

Local and visiting talent will perform live music and dance celebrating India.

Donegal Mela is part of the Donegal County Council’s Black and Minority Ethnic Inclusion Strategy promoting unity and diversity in the region.

Organised by Indian Community Centre Letterkenny and supported by Donegal County Council and An Grianán Theatre, this is a family friendly afternoon celebrating culture and community.

The Donegal Centre for Independent Living (DCIL), in partnership with Donegal County Council, is pleased to launch the “Put Us To Work” campaign, a bold public awareness and advocacy initiative calling on employers across Donegal to commit to inclusive hiring and rethink disability in the workplace.
