Donegal County Museum invites you to view the WOMEN 100 (Donegal) photographic project, this Saturday 28th June between 2- 4pm. The work was commissioned by Donegal County Museum as part of the 2024 Commemorations Programme and led by artist Marie Barrett. It focused on women who are active in community development and social justice around County Donegal.

These women were selected for their roles in shaping contemporary issues related to women's visibility and roles in society. The project highlighted their efforts in social change and development - showcasing the women within their communities and working environments. Organisations who collaborated included Inishowen Development Partnership, Changemakers Project, Donegal Intercultural Platform, Donegal Travellers Project and Women’s Collective Donegal. This project was funded by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.

All are welcome to come along Saturday and admission is free. The Museum is located on the High Road, Letterkenny, F92 K123   For further information contact us on 074 9124613 E museum@donegalcoco.ie
