Local Enhancement Programme 2026
Local Enhancement Programme 2026 – Application process will open in late January 2026.
The Local Enhancement Programme 2026 (LEP) will provide capital funding to support the many small community groups and organisations in the county - particularly those who serve disadvantaged areas in rural and urban areas.
The Local Enhancement Programme 2026 is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht.
The online application process with open in late January.
There will be no grants for Current Costs in 2026 under the LEP Scheme
Capital Grant available will be:
· Small Grant (€500-€1000)
· Large Grant (€5,000-€10,000)
In advance of the opening of the online application process, groups who are interested in applying should start their application preparation by following steps below:-
1. Identify the project(s) you wish to apply for
2. Seek 3 quotations for project works, materials or equipment
3. Ensure you have Tax Reference No/Charitable Status No/TCAN for your Group
4. Ensure you have Bank/Credit Union Statement (with name matching Revenue Information) for your Group
