Letterkenny Road Notices

Roads for Closure:

L-1004 Port Road

 

Alternative Route:

L-1008-1 Pearse Road – L1010 Justice Walsh Road

R229 De Valera Road – L1005-1 High Road

Notice is hereby given that Donegal County Council has made an Order to have the following road closed to traffic on the dates indicated to provide Emergency access route for Emergency Vehicles for the following periods during Rally weekend:

  • Friday 20th of June 2025, 2pm to 2am on Saturday 21st of June 2025,
  • Saturday 21st of June 2025, 10am to 2am on Sunday 22nd of June 2025,
  • Sunday 22nd of June 2025, 10am to 10pm on Sunday 22nd of June 2025,

Roads to be closed:

The L1094/2 Cullion Road in the townland of Drumnahoagh from the junction with the L1114/2&3 Leck Road in the townland of Drumnahoagh to the Junction with the N56/82 4 Lane Road in the townland of Drumnahoagh.

Diversion routes:

The diversion route will be via the L1114/2 ( Leck Road). The N13/8 (Letterkenny Stranorlar Road) and the N56/82 ( Four Lane Road).

Roads for Closure:

R-940-1 Ballyraine Road/Ramelton Road

 

Alternative Route:

N56 Ramelton Road – N56 Business Park Road – L1009 Gortlee Road

All public roads connecting to the roads listed shall be closed for a distance of 300m from their junction with the listed roads. 

Inishowen Road Notices

Road For Closure:

Carndonagh Relief Road from Supervalu Junction to the L-12611. Local access to shops and businesses at all times.

 

The road numbers involved are:

R-244-10.

 

Alternative Routes:

Local diversion via the R-240-1, L-1271 & L-12611-0.
