Press Release on Response to Storm Amy - Establishment of Community Based Emergency Hubs across the County

Establishment of Community Based Emergency Hubs across the County
Our Local Call Centre Open tomorrow Sunday from 9am to 4.30pm

Donegal County Council in association with a number of community partners have arranged for the opening of a number of community based emergency hubs across the county to address the needs of the most vulnerable in our communities who remain without electricity and water in the aftermath of Storm Amy.

Thes hubs/centres will provide basic essential services to members of their communities who are in need of same.

To date, the response from community groups across the county has been remarkable. We have 8 centres who have responded in a positive way to this request and have made their facilities available.

The Council has published an interactive Map which can be access at the following link;
