Donegal County Library Service is excited to announce its newest digital offering, Blinkist Premium, now available free to all registered cardholders. Through a partnership with Library Ideas, LLC, Donegal joins libraries worldwide in providing access to Blinkist’s award-winning platform for lifelong learning.

Designed for the modern reader, Blinkist offers key insights from nonfiction book, audio, and podcast summaries called Blinks. Users of all backgrounds can explore big ideas and acquire actionable knowledge on a variety of topics in a way that suits their lifestyle and personal and professional development goals. Launch of Seachtain na Gaeilge 2026 in Donegal

Seachtain na Gaeilge is soon approaching and Donegal County Council is delighted to announce that this year’s Seachtain na Gaeilge in Donegal will be launched in Gaelscoil na gCeithre Máistrí, Donegal Town, on Thursday 26th February 2026 at 11.00am. Music, entertainment and refreshments will be provided.

Launch of ‘Our Voices Together: Stories of Migration to and from Donegal’

Donegal County Museum and the County Archives Service are delighted to announce the launch of their latest exciting project ‘Our Voices Together: Stories of Migration to and from Donegal’. This is an intercultural oral history and heritage project aiming to capture and celebrate the diverse migration experiences of communities throughout County Donegal.
