Cór Ailigh honoured at Mayor’s Reception

The members of the Letterkenny / Milford Municipal District were delighted to confer a Mayor’s Reception in honour of Cór Ailigh held at the Public Services Centre, Letterkenny last evening.

The award is in recognition of the choir’s continued contribution to music and Irish language since its establishment in 2001. Some notable highlights in the choir’s 25-year history include performing at St. Peters Basilica in Rome, and a performance for a special Irish mass on RTE 1.

Micheal Ó Giobúin (Choir Founder) accepted the award on behalf of the choir and dedicated the award and the choir’s success to all its members, both past and present.

Cllr Ciaran Brogan, Mayor, congratulated Cór Ailigh on its’ success and acknowledged its’ achievements to date.

Here at Donegal County Council we are very fortunate to have a fantastic team of Lifeguards each season and this year we are looking to expand and bring in new team members.

Opening Times

Motor Taxation 9.15am to 12.15pm, and 1.15pm to 3pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Cash Office 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Other Services 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.30pm (Monday to Friday)
