Apply for Planning Permission

To ensure that planning applications are made available to the public as quickly as possible, and to comply with new legislation, all new planning applications must be sent directly to the Planning Service, County House, Lifford, Co. Donegal F93 Y622.

Planning applications should not be submitted to Public Service Centres or other offices of the Council.

All email queries in relation to planning should be sent to planning@donegalcoco.ie. E mails should not be sent to staff email addresses.  If you are seeking advice in relation to any development, you need to advise of the location of the site and attach a site map if possible so that your query may be directed to the relevant planner. Planning advice from site to site will be very different. Ideally a pre planning enquiry should be submitted so that you can be given the best advice possible see application forms below

Planning Packs are available from the Ordnance survey office

You may check the National Parks and Wildlife Service website for information regarding SAC's, NHA's etc http://www.npws.ie/protectedsites/
