Storm Bram – Status Orange Weather Warning for Donegal this afternoon and A Status Red Marine Storm Warning now in place!
With a Status Orange Wind warning now in place for the entire country, Storm Bram is set to bring “very strong to gale force” winds.

A Status Yellow Wind Warning is currently in place Valid: 06:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025 to 14:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025
The Orange Wind Warning for Donegal will come into effect this afternoon from 14:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025 and extend to 21:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025. “Storm Bram will bring very strong to gale force southerly winds with severe gusts. Impacts: Flooding of low-lying coastal areas, especially during high tide; Wave overtopping; Difficult travel conditions; Debris, loose objects displaced; Outdoor events impacted; Power outages”
A Status Red - Storm Warning is also in place from Loop Head to Erris Head to Malin Head with “South to southwest winds will occasionally reach violent storm force 11. Valid: 12:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025 to 20:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025”. This will be followed by an Status Orange – Storm warning for all coasts of Ireland and on the Irish Sea. Southerly winds, later veering southwesterly, will reach strong gale force 9 or storm force 10. Valid: 00:00 Tuesday 09/12/2025 to 00:00 Wednesday 10/12/2025
