Donegal County Council opens support helpline following Storm Éowyn

In response to an emerging humanitarian need, Donegal County Council have opened a helpline for those who need support following the impact of Storm Éowyn. 

The Community Response Support Helpline is available on 1800 832 015 from 9.00am to 4.30pm this week.  

The public can also reach us on our dedicated support email humanitarianassistance@donegalcoco.ie

Donegal Public Services Centres located in Letterkenny, Milford, Donegal Town, Carndonagh and Dungloe, together with our Library Services and Donegal County Museum (Letterkenny) welcome anyone in need of wi-fi and charging facilities to call in during opening hours. Updates on individual library branch services available will issue throughout the week as branches open. Opening hours and updates can be found at https://www.donegalculture.ie/en/visit-us/

Donegal County Council pays tribute to former County Manager Michael McLoone

Donegal County Council is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former County Manager, Michael McLoone. Mr. McLoone served as County Manager from 1994 until his retirement in 2010. He was a dedicated and passionate leader who made a lasting impact on our county. While many important capital projects were delivered during his tenure with the Council, he will most notably be remembered for a remarkable transformation in local government in the county with the decentralisation of offices.

Donegal County Council publishes 2025 Gender Pay Gap Report

Donegal County Council has today published its Gender Pay Gap Report, highlighting the percentage difference between what men and women are paid on average in the organisation, irrespective of roles or levels.

Opening Times

Motor Taxation 9.15am to 12.15pm, and 1.15pm to 3pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Cash Office 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Other Services 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.30pm (Monday to Friday)
