Mayor’s Reception conferred on St. Eunan’s GAA Club

The members of the Letterkenny / Milford Municipal District were delighted to confer a Mayor’s Reception on St Eunan’s GAA Club at a reception held at the Public Services Centre, Letterkenny last evening (Thursday 5th June)

The award is in recognition of the Club’s outstanding contribution to local and national sports. Chairman John Haran accepted the award on the Club’s behalf and thanked the players and volunteers who tirelessly devote their free time to promote and run the club.

Cllr Gerry McMonagle, Mayor, congratulated the club on their success and acknowledged the important role that it has played in encouraging and developing young people in our community to get involved in sports.

Donegal County Council pays tribute to former County Manager Michael McLoone

Donegal County Council is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former County Manager, Michael McLoone. Mr. McLoone served as County Manager from 1994 until his retirement in 2010. He was a dedicated and passionate leader who made a lasting impact on our county. While many important capital projects were delivered during his tenure with the Council, he will most notably be remembered for a remarkable transformation in local government in the county with the decentralisation of offices.

Donegal County Council publishes 2025 Gender Pay Gap Report

Donegal County Council has today published its Gender Pay Gap Report, highlighting the percentage difference between what men and women are paid on average in the organisation, irrespective of roles or levels.

Motor Taxation 9.15am to 12.15pm, and 1.15pm to 3pm (Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Cash Office 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.00pm (Monday to Friday)

Other Services 9am-12.30pm, and 1pm-4.30pm (Monday to Friday)
