UK Emergency Alerts Service

This Sunday, 7th September, at 3 pm the UK Government will test its emergency alert system.

Those located in border counties at that time may receive a text and audio alert, and a vibration of up to 10 seconds on their phones. This emergency alert will look and sound different to other types of messages such as SMS text messages.

There is no cause for concern, and no action needs to be taken by you.
