Planning Registers
Article 10 Notifications under article 10 (6) e of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 (as amended)
Donegal County Council has established a Vacant Sites Register in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Regeneration and Housing Act 2015 (as amended). The purpose of the register is to identify vacant sites within the functional area of Donegal County Council that have been identified for housing and regeneration purposes and which have been deemed suitable for housing or redevelopment but are lying dormant and undeveloped. Sites entered on the Register will be subject to the Vacant Site Levy provisions introduced under the Act.
The Register was established on 1st January 2017. The planning authority will continue to monitor sites within its functional area and will add or remove sites on the register as appropriate.

Section 261A of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (Further matters in relation to control of quarries).
Donegal County Council have now completed its examination of all Quarries within the County under Section 261(a) Legislation (Planning & Development Act, 2000 – 2011).
