Under the terms of the Defective Concrete Blocks Grant Scheme, an appeal may be made where Donegal County Council has decided:

  • Not to issue Confirmation of Eligibility
  • Not to issue Confirmation of Grant Approval
  • Not to approve an Application for Payment

Note: no other grounds for appeal are permitted

If you meet the above criteria, you will be able to log in and submit an appeal after you have been notified of the Council's decision. You must submit your appeal within 3 weeks from the date the decision was communicated to you.


You need to state the reason(s) for your appeal and upload any supporting document(s).


Your appeal will be considered and adjudicated upon by a Council Official who was not involved with the original assessment, as designated by the Chief Executive of Donegal County Council.


A decision on your appeal will be notified to you within 2 weeks of it having been made.
