About the Communications Office

 

The role of Donegal County Councils Communications Office is to proactively engage with the media so as to ensure effective communication with the public.

 

What do we do? 

  • Provide the Donegal County Council enquiry service for the media
  • Issue official Donegal County Council comment to the media
  • Draft and issue press releases and promote Donegal County Council related stories
  • Highlight and promote the services, supports and activities of Donegal County Council.
  • Facilitate interaction between the organisation and the media.
  • Oversee Donegal County Councils online presence including websites and social media sites.
