Donegal County Council has been advised that the Cabinet has approved the Emergency Humanitarian Flood Scheme to aid eligible businesses impacted by the recent flooding in Donegal on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of July 2023.
This scheme provides an emergency humanitarian support contribution towards the costs of returning business premises to their pre-flooding condition including the replacement of flooring, fixtures, fittings, and damaged stock.
The scheme, which will be administered by the Irish Red Cross, will be live on their website at https://www.redcross.ie/flood-support-scheme/ from later today.
